I have question to the commercial receipts, and OR, if the total package of the said agency is 10,000 the plain ticket, hotel etc. is worth 6,500 how much will they put in OR and in Collection receipt?
Hi Eugene, usually the OR should determine the amount only the agency/company kept and received. All other amounts that go to another entity should be calculated separately, usually represented through other commercial receipts. So if P6,500 is not going to go to your Accounts Receivable I would not include it in my OR and use an Acknowledgement/collection receipt. Feel free to check with an accountant to verify and see if there is a simpler way to do so. Thank you for your question!
